All About Redlight Gaming

Who are we?
We are Redlight Gaming, a group of gamers, streamers, and above all, friends. Our little group was formed organically through livestreams on Twitch, now-defunct gaming groups, and our other online gaming adventures.
There are many kinds of folks who call our community home. We are Twitch streamers, we are artists, we are gamers, we are writers, we are professionals, we are diverse. We are you.
Remember in The Legend of Zelda where the old guy in the cave hands you a sword and tells you, “It’s dangerous to go alone. Take this!”? Redlight wants to be the sword in your grand adventure that is gaming!

What are our goals?
Our goal is to create an online community where gamers, streamers, and other content creators come together in order to share knowledge, seek assistance, inspire others, and to have fun! On paper, that sounds like a simple goal. And for the most part, it is! We have served various gaming organizations in various capacities; we want to use our collective experience to build a community by improving upon those from which we came.
Simply put, if a member of the Redlight Gaming community thinks, or has thought something to the effect of, “Boy, I’m glad I have these folks in my life,” then, we are a successful community. This is our goal.

What do we play?
ALL THE THINGS! If it’s fun, we'll play it! Redlight is not centered around one particular game. That’s not to say that we don’t become intensely immersed in any particular games (We’re looking at you, Destiny 2). You’ll also find us playing games such as Final Fantasy 14, Duck Game, Doki Doki Literature Club (Just. Monika.), DC Universe Online, and seemingly unending Steam backlogs. Those backlogged games aren’t just going to play themselves!
We love nothing more than when a fellow Redlighter finds a new game to share with the community. See the above Duck Game, which has now become a filler between super-serious gaming sessions. Yes, we have taken to murdering each other repeatedly as hat-wearing ducks. This is normal.

Where are we?
In the online space, we are all over the place. We have an active Discord server filled with jolly souls. We have an assortment of smaller streamers on Twitch. We run a Clan in Destiny 2 (PC). We are exploring a Redlight Free Company in Final Fantasy XIV.
Geographically, we have members all over the United States, Canada, and even folks living in the UK. We really are taking over the world.

Why should you care?
We would love you to join us. We don’t care if you’re a casual gamer, professional gamer, large streamer, small streamer, successful or starving artist, or even from New Jersey. If you are a decent person who wants to join a community of other decent people, please check us out! We are building something special and would love to have you along for the journey!
